How to remove the background from HEIC photos
iPhone photos are often HEIC/HEIF. This tool converts them to a bitmap in the browser, then removes the background.
What happens to HEIC
Drop an album HEIC or choose it from disk. The converter runs first, then the cutout model. For Live Photos, keep a single still frame.
If conversion fails
Some HEIC encodings fail in the browser. On iPhone, save the photo as JPEG, or export a PNG, then try again. The error message points to the same workaround.
Respect the 20MB per-file limit. The first visit downloads the model—prefer Wi-Fi. After that, the browser cache makes later runs faster.
iPhone originals are not uploaded. Export a transparent PNG or a white-fill JPEG for chat apps, storefronts, or print shops.
